Within the division molecular biology laboratory research is a primary strength.  Adrenal and ovarian steroidogenesis, gene regulation of ovarian hormone receptors, smooth muscle cellular physiology, and andrology are several areas of research interest.  To fuel its research efforts, the division currently holds 6 NIH grants and 3 additional grants from other significant funding sources.





  


      The division also emphasizes clinical research.  Our large clinic and referral base of patients with endocrinology disorders and infertility serves as a valuable resource for our clinical research projects.
