The mission of the UT Southwestern Medical School Alumni Association is to serve its alumni and to support and serve the needs of The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School including its students.

Goals:

• Provide a medium for keeping alumni informed about activities of the Medical School and of each other.
  
• Provide alumni with services and programs to meet their needs and interests.
  
• Encourage alumni to make their personal and financial resources available to the Medical School.
  
• Collect and maintain accurate biographical records on all alumni for the benefit of alumni and the Medical School.
  
• Encourage alumni to participate in programs which fulfill the needs of the Medical School and its students.
  
• Communicate to alumni and other constituents the achievements, concerns, and activities of the Alumni Association.
  
• Build on the legacy of the past leadership, pass on to future alumni a strong Association that will serve effectively the interests of UT Southwestern Medical School alumni and be a strong advocate for UT Southwestern Medical School.
  
• Continue to review the mechanism by which the Alumni Association might increase participation by alumni.
