The Mohan Laboratory is dedicated to the study and cure of systemic lupus erythematosus (lupus), an autoimmune disease that is not yet completely understood.  Lupus is caused by both genetic and environmental triggers.  The research projects at the Mohan Lab focus on finding out what makes some people genetically more likely to develop lupus.

Please check out the links on the right and read through our publications and current projects to find out more.
