For Octobers meeting, Dr. Rahm Heymann of Clinical Assessment & Patient Simulation took us to a room where the patient was a mannequin.  But this was no regular mannequin, this had a breathing, beating heart that even opened and closed its eyes! Not only did the explorers get a chance to touch this one of a kind mannequin but also got a chance to work on him and saved his life by performing CPR!  To top off the meeting, Dr. Diane Legace, set up hands-on activities in which explorers dissected mouse brains, mounted slices of the mouse brain into slides and identified the hippocampus of the brain!  All in one night!
