Psychotherapy Counseling

Moncrief Cancer Resources offers psychotherapy counseling sessions to cancer patients dealing with various emotional issues stemming from their cancer diagnosis. These include:

  • Depression, anxiety, grief, anger, fear, stress, insomnia

  • Inability to cope with cancer diagnosis; feeling overwhelmed

  • Relaxation skills for pain management

  • Relationship issues concerning marital/significant other, children, family

The Social Work Department of Moncrief Cancer Resources will explore with cancer patients on an individual basis whether this service would be helpful to them. If it is determined that psychotherapy sessions are appropriate, the Social Worker will refer patients to the Psychotherapist.

Appointments: Once referred by the Social Worker, patients will call and make an appointment to see the Psychotherapist, located at Moncrief Cancer Resources 1701 River Run, Suite 500, Fort Worth, Texas.

Cost: Each session will cost $25.00 payable by patient at the time of the appointment. Cash and checks are the method of payment. Credit cards will not be accepted.
