Target Audience: Area physiatrists, neurologists, other interested physicians, nurses, physical and occupational therapists, medical students, and other allied health care workers.
Concept: Designed to provide an on-going forum about new developments in PM&R.
Methods: Lecture, Slides, Transparencies, Question, and Answer.
Goals: To increase participants knowledge and expertise in evaluation and management in the above topic areas.
Objectives: To review the classic literature, discuss and present recent advances in the clinical aspects, diagnosis and treatment of various rehabilitation disorders.
Fee: Provided by the PM&R Department of UT Southwestern Medical Center.
ACCME: The UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians.
AMA/PRA/AAPA: The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas designates this educational activity for a maximum 1 Category 1 credit toward the AMA Physicians Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the activity.
