Neurovascular Disorders - Our Physicians

By working within a multidisciplinary medical team, our physicians offer you a comprehensive diagnosis and precise course of action to begin your treatment. This team, made up of neuroradiologists, stroke neurologists, cerebrovascular neurosurgeons and interventional neuroradiologists, meets weekly to discuss each patient. This gives the physicians an opportunity to obtain multiple opinions after the patient’s initial visit, and the patient receives a care plan at the next follow-up visit.

If surgery is required, our neurosurgeons are highly skilled in the treatment of the full range of neurovascular disorders, including treatments for stroke, aneurysms and other blood vessel problems using cerebrovascular and endovascular neurosurgery.

At UT Southwestern, our neurosurgeons have specific areas of focus and expertise even within each specialty area, ensuring our doctors have the knowledge and background to address your particular type of condition. In addition, our physicians also work with UT Southwestern’s medical support staff to ensure any ongoing, outpatient therapy is fully integrated with your treatment strategy.
