The Southwestern Center for Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease's mission is to not only provide our patients with outstanding clinical care, but also provide our patients with the resources necessary to participate in cutting edge research in prognosis, diagnosis, and treatment of their disease.
We currently have several on-going studies:
- Evaluation of growth and protein turnover in pediatric inflammatory bowel disease.
- Creation of a nation wide pediatric inflammatory bowel disease registry.
- Quality improvement initiatives in pediatric inflammatory bowel disease.
- Genetic studies.
