Long-Term Care and Follow-Up of the High-Risk Neonate
The Division of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a faculty member with an interest in the long-term care and follow up of the high-risk neonate. The clinic for these infants has been established for >25 years and is located at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. It is supported by Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, a nurse coordinator, social worker, dietician and individuals trained to perform developmental exams.
The clinic is a part of research programs funded by the National Institutes of Health for the Neonatal Network and the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Network and offers unparalleled academic opportunities and to work closely with others in this field. Individuals interested need not be trained in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, but should demonstrate skills in follow up, the supervision of residents and fellows as well as paramedical personnel.
The position is open at the Assistant/Associate Professor level and board certification in Pediatrics in mandatory.

Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neonatologists - Research

They should show expertise in clinical care and teaching of medical students, residents, paramedical personnel and postdoctoral trainees. Neonatologist - Director of Clinical Services
The position for Director of Clinical Services for the Division of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine will coordinate the clinical services of the Division of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, which will include Children’s Medical Center of Dallas, Parkland Health and Hospital System and the University Hospital Services of UT Southwestern Medical Center.
Applicants should show expertise in leadership, resident education, clinical care and the ability to coordinate the activities of three Neonatal Intensive Care Units and faculty in the Division of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. They must have completed an accredited training program in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and are board certified in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
