Associate Professor/Professor

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas is seeking a director of its Pediatric Stem Cell Transplantation Program, based at Children’s Medical Center Dallas, which is a major component of the UT Southwestern Stem Cell Transplantation Program. We desire an individual qualified to be appointed a the Associate Professor or Professor level who has an established track record in clinical care, clinical or laboratory investigation and leadership in Stem Cell Transplantation involving children. The pediatric program currently includes two full time transplantation physicians, a clinical immunology faculty member, and an outstanding infrastructure and support staff as components of the Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern and Children’s. The new director will be provided with the resources necessary to launch the pediatric program to a level of regional and national distinction in patient care, education, research and advocacy. Faculty Position in Pediatric Oncology

The Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Program at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and Children's Medical Center Dallas seeks an additional faculty member at the Associate Professor level. Candidates must be Board Certified in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology. The successful applicant will focus on the development of novel clinical research and care programs for children with cancer. We seek applicants with an established track record in research and patient care who have leadership experience and ambition. Successful candidates will join the 19 full time faculty members currently in the division. This new position will be available in the spring or summer of 2008. The successful applicant will devote their efforts to provision of care to children with cancer and hematologic disorders, teaching (fellows, residents, and medical students), and participation in clinical research. Interest and experience in community outreach, informatics, cancer survivorship, neuro-oncology, or cancer in adolescents and young adults is desirable but not required. Successful candidates will join the 19 full time faculty members currently in the division. This new position will be available in the spring or summer of 2008.
