Professor/Associate Professor

The Department of Pediatrics is seeking an outstanding individual at the Professor or Associate Professor level to serve as Director of Pediatric Hepatology and Transplant Hepatology within the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Children’s Medical Center of Dallas.

The Director of Hepatology and Transplant Hepatology will be responsible for the continued growth and development of a very active hepatology and liver transplant program which preformed 27 transplants in 2008.  Must be board certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology with additional competency in Transplant Hepatology.  Academic appointment will be commensurate with academic credentials.

Professor/Associate Professor
Director of basic research for Center for Pediatric Inflammatory Bowl Disease at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. Candidates should have a record of basic research and publications in the areas of gastrointestinal inflammation/inflammatory bowel disease. The successful candidate will direct basic research development for the Center for Pediatric Inflammatory Bowl Disease. Board eligibility or certification in Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology essential.


Professor/Associate Professor
Clinical Director for newly established Center for Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease at Children’s Medical Center at Dallas. Candidates should have a record of basic research and publications in the areas of gastrointestinal inflammation/inflammatory bowel disease. The successful candidate will direct development of clinical care at the Center for Pediatric Inflammatory Bowl Disease. Board eligibility or certification in Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology essential.

 

Assistant/Associate Professor
The Gastroenterology Division of the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School is recruiting additional faculty in the area of GI & nutrition. Candidates should be interested in pursing either clinical or basic research. Excellence in clinical Pediatric Gastroenterology and competence in routine endoscopy and other GI procedures is essential. All positions carry protected time for academic pursuits. Candidates should be board eligible/board certified Pediatric Gastroenterology.

 

Assistant/Associate Professor
The Gastroenterology Division of the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School is recruiting a board eligible/board certified Pediatric Gastroenterologist at the assistant or associate professor level with a focus in clinical nutrition research, particularly obesity. The position carries protected time for academic pursuits.

 

Assistant/Associate Professor
The Gastroenterology Division of the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Texas
Southwestern Medical School is recruiting a full-time position at the assistant or associate professor level. Candidates should have a commitment or either clinical or basic research. The position will have protected time for research and academic pursuits. Other responsibilities include attending on the gastroenterology inpatient service and the gastroenterology outpatient clinic for the purposes of teaching medical students, house staff and fellows. Requirements: Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition, with competence in routine GI procedures.
