The Department of Pediatrics is seeking outstanding individuals at the Assistant/Associate Professor level for the Critical Care Division at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Children’s Medical Center of Dallas.

The Critical Care Division offers a variety of opportunities as Clinicians, Clinical Scholars and Physician Scientists.  Clinical research is facilitated by research coordinators and bedside informatics.  Candidates should have a strong commitment to teaching.  Must be board eligible or certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care.  Academic appointment will be commensurate with academic credentials.

Assistant/Associate Professor

The Department of Pediatrics is seeking an outstanding individual at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to join the faculty as part of a multidisciplinary Cardiac Intensive Care Program at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Children’s Medical Center of Dallas.

Your responsibilities will be in the areas of Clinical Research and the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit.  The Cardiac Intensive Care Unit is a collaborative venture between Pediatric Critical Care, Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery.  It accommodates the 400 cardiac surgeries performed yearly.  There are also active programs in echocardiography, cardiac MRI, electrophysiology and cardiac catheterization.  Must be board eligible or certified in Pediatrics, and Pediatric Critical Care or Pediatric Cardiology.
