Membership in the Friends of Mineral Metabolism supports the work conducted in The Charles and Jane Pak Center for Mineral Metabolism and Clinical Research.  Under the direction of Dr. Orson Moe, holder of the Donald W. Seldin Professorship in Clinical Investigation, and with the aid of Dr. Charles Y.C. Pak, former Center director, and his team, many of the mysteries of osteoporosis, kidney stones, and other mineral metabolic diseases have been solved, and effective treatments and preventative drugs have been developed.

The Friends of Mineral Metabolism offers a wonderful opportunity to support the future of research in mineral metabolism at UT Southwestern.  Your support of this world-renowned Center provides a source of funds for exploring new research and treatment ideas. One hundred percent of the membership donations to the Friends of Mineral Metabolism are used to support ongoing research at The Charles and Jane Pak Center for Mineral Metabolism and Clinical Research at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
