Cancer Center Membership

Faculty who are interested becoming members of the Simmons Cancer Center can access (via the intranet) our Membership Guidelines along with the Membership Application. Full membership requires a faculty appointment, cancer-related funding, and recent cancer-related publications, while associate membership is available to faculty at UT Southwestern and affiliated institutions who have significant professional involvement in cancer-related research and who participate in one of the Cancer Center’s Scientific Programs.

Membership benefits include priority access to unique Cancer Center Shared Resources; participation in Scientific Program and Disease-Oriented Team activities; eligibility for Cancer Center pilot grants; and notification and invitations to events, forums, and symposia. Cancer Center members can go to the Office of Research Grants and Contracts for information on research grant and funding opportunities.

Please contact Jordan Brainerd for additional information. jordan.brainerd@utsouthwestern.edu or 214-648-7403
