Degree and Certificate Programs

The Master of Science and Certificate programs in Clinical Science provide rigorous training in the skills and competencies necessary to plan, conduct, and interpret superior clinical research. Our programs will provide a comprehensive, individual, multidisciplinary education in the principles and methods of clinical research and in the skills and strategies required for the development of successful research careers through a didactic curriculum focused on patient-oriented research. Additionally, trainees will experience an in-depth, practical, multidisciplinary, collaborative training experience in the planning, execution, and analysis of clinical research.

All degree and certificate programs are offered through the UT Southwestern Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. Program applicants must meet the eligibility and admission requirements of the Graduate School, the Department of Clinical Sciences, and the Center for Translational Medicine.

An annual allowance for tuition and/or training support is available for select program students.
