Basic Certificate (TL1 – Doris Duke)
The Department of Clinical Sciences and the Center for Translational Medicine offer a one year predoctoral certificate program to medical students who want to further their knowledge of patient oriented research. This track partners with the university’s Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellowship program.
It is designed to develop promising student researchers who intend to pursue careers in patient-oriented research but who may not pursue formal graduate education in research (i.e., doctoral training).
