UT Dallas School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences
The University of Texas at Dallas has a long-term commitment to translational research, particularly through its nationally renowned Callier Center for Communication Disorders and the Center for Brain Health. Both are housed within the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences, which is considered one of the nation’s leading research institutions in cognition and neuroscience, psychological sciences, communication sciences, and audiology. The School's graduate programs in Communication Disorders, Audiology, and Early Childhood Disorders have all established themselves as nationally prominent trainers of clinicians.
The main UT Dallas campus is located 20 minutes away from UT Southwestern. The Advanced Imaging Research Center, jointly funded with UT Southwestern, is located on the UT Southwestern campus.
Future Collaborations
UT Southwestern will apply geo-referenced data mapping and spatial econometric methods through collaboration with UT Dallas’s Neighborhood Change Research Initiative. The initiative focuses on how social networks and neighborhood context influence health behaviors.
