What is ResearchMatch.org?
Healthy people interested in participating in research studies and individuals searching for clinical research studies involving specific conditions can now connect online with researchers nationwide by joining ResearchMatch. ResearchMatch is a secure site bringing together people in our immediate communities and surrounding states with researchers who are approved to recruit research volunteers.
UT Southwestern Medical Center is one of more than 50 institutions across the country participating in this initiative.
A real challenge
Many people might consider participating in research but do not know how to find studies that are right for them. At the same time, important studies are sometimes forced to end before they are completed because researchers cannot find enough people to participate. This wastes time and resources, and can delay new health treatments from becoming available to patients now and in the future.
Will you become part of the solution?
Universities and other research institutions in your area have joined with others across the country to create an easy-to-use tool that can help address this problem while protecting your privacy – a secure place where people can be matched with research studies.
Learn more about ResearchMatch, and consider registering today. Volunteers of any age, race, ethnicity, or health status are invited to join.
ResearchMatch.org is a product of the Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA) Consortium which is led by the National Center for Research Resources, a part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
