Master of Science in Clinical Science

Enrollment Update

Submit application  online to the School of Health Professions.

Application for Fall 2023 will open December 1, 2022.

Designed for those who aim to accelerate their clinical and translational research careers, the Master of Science in Clinical Science program includes courses on research training, financial planning, leadership, and career development. Graduates will have the knowledge to plan and conduct their own clinical and translational research programs and apply for grant funding.

The Graduate Certificate in Clinical Science program offers courses on research design, biostatistics, and research implementation. Courses taken during the certificate program may be applied towards the Masters.

Core Coursework

  • Biostatistics
  • Introduction to  the Design and Analysis of Clinical and Translational Research
  • Grant Writing and Funding Strategies
  • Responsible Conduct of Research
  • Essentials of Management and Leadership
  • Career pathway focused electives including coursework in health informatics.

Tuition

The approximate total cost for the MSCS degree is $10-$13K with in-state tuition.
