Disease-Oriented Clinical Scholars Program

The goal of the Disease-Oriented Clinical Scholars (DOCS) Program is to facilitate the growth of state of the art research in clinical departments at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Candidates for DOCS support will be nominated by a clinical department chair at UT Southwestern. The candidate must have: completed research training, demonstrated commitment to a career in research, and great promise as a future leader in the field.
 
At the time of nomination, candidates may still be in postdoctoral or fellowship training, but they will be expected to be appointed as an Assistant Professor by the time the DOCS support takes effect.
