Summary

There are two parts of this study. The first is a retrospective chart review and the second is a prospective monitoring of all patients who have developed both symptomatic and asymptomatic cystine stones and then presented to the UT Southwestern Aston Ambulatory Care Center system. In regards to the prospective monitoring phase, there will be no additional procedures related to this study. All patients will receive the same standard medical care that can be expected for those patients who choose not participate in this study.

Participant Eligibility

Those patients who had developed stones that contained a significant concentration of cystine.
