We propose to systematically collect normal and neoplastic tissues obtained either at surgery or by medically indicated therapeutic or diagnostic procedures. only those tissues not required for patient management or evaluation will be collected. Small volumes of blood would be collected to provide convenient access to normal blood cells and to serum constituents. Clinical information will be collected from the patient, the medical record, or the attending physician for inclusion into a computer database system. only coded data after removal of patient identifiers will be available for research purposes.
