Summary

To collect tissue, bone marrow or peripheral blood samples of patients with rhabdomyosarcoma for deposit in a repository for long-term storage. Samples will be collected at the time of initial diagnosis of cancer or at the time of a second surgical procedure if it occurs prior to treatment. Samples also will be collected if and when patients develop a second primary tumor. These samples will be obtained when other samples are obtained for standard care. These samples can be used for approved projects by laboratory-based investigators.

Participant Eligibility

1. Males or females <=50 years of age at time of enrollment with a newly diagnosed rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) or non-rhabdomyosarcoma soft tissue sarcoma (NRSTS) or other soft tissue neoplasms listed in Appendices I and II of the protocol, excluding benign tumors. Spanish speaking subjects will be eligible to participate in this study using a Spanish short form and a translator.
