Summary

Tissue samples from patients diagnosed with hematologic malignancies will be collected from the uTSTR and sent to various uTSW and non-uTSW laboratories where procedures will be conducted to aid in exploring genetic variations contributing to clinical outcomes through tissue analysis and clinical correlation. Tissue research could one day be used to predict the risk of severe complications from radiation therapy in patients and help design more individualized, effective and safer treatment plans.

Subjects will be patients of the uT Southwestern Medical Center, uT Southwestern university Hospitals (St Paul and Zale-Lipshy) and Parkland. annual patient accrual is anticipated to be 1000. Follow up will be at physician discretion, but at least every 6 months for the first two years, then yearly thereafter until death or withdrawal.

* Able to provide written informed consent

* Diagnosis of hematologic malignancy

* Age greater than 18 years old

* Males and Females are eligible

* Any ethnicity is eligible
