Summary

Participants will perform simultaneous balance assessments with the K-D Balance application, Sway Balance application and clinical balance assessment using the Balance error Scoring System by physician observation. Study participants will have one device (iPhone) with the K-D Balance Test application secured with a standardized device holder and another mobile device (iPhone) with the Sway Balance application loaded. Participants will hold the additional device to their chest in accordance with the standardized Sway Balance test procedure.

no changes to the standard protocol of administering these tests will be made by the study team. The only information that will be recorded is de-identified demographic information (age, gender, balance performance) and these evaluations along with the signed consent forms will be maintained and stored in a locked cabinet accessible only to the principal investigators and members of the research team.

Statistical analysis of the above data will then be conducted by a statistician and research team.
