Summary

This is a prospective, randomized, observational pilot study of neuro-oncology patients who are receiving chemotherapy (all delivery methods) as part of their standard of care. The study will occur in three phases. Phase one includes development of the education tools and instruments and Phase two involves enrollment and data collection of participants. The study team aims to recruit and consent 30 patients over the course of 9 months. Phase 3 will involve data collection from the electronic medical record (eMR). There will be no additional direct patient contact will occur in Phase 3.

Participant Eligibility


* Patients between the age of 18

* Neuro-Oncology patients

* Attending regular outpatient visits and treatment at Simmons Cancer Institute

* English Speaking

* Life expectancy greater than 3 months

* Cognitively able to self-consent
