Synthetic Chemistry Core
Description
The goal of the Synthetic Chemistry Core is to assist UT Southwestern Medical Center researchers in the areas of organic and medicinal chemistry. We collaborate with researchers across the university on medicinal chemistry projects to improve the potency, selectivity, stability and toxicity profile of biologically active small molecules. To this end, we work closely with a pharmacology group on campus and the high-throughput screening facility. Finally, we provide consultation and general advice on drug discovery and development.
