Guest and Patient Service ambassadors are available to help make each patient’s hospital stay comfortable and pleasant. They give directions, answer questions and arrange such services as a personal escort, wheelchair and stretcher assistance

Ambassadors also help coordinate hotel reservations, car rentals, taxis, food delivery, guest trays, translation services, hair care, birthdays and anniversaries, flowers, videos and reading material.

Inpatient Care

The Guest and Patient Services Desk is located in the main lobby of each hospital.

Patient ambassadors are available at the following hours:

• UT Southwestern University Hospital St. Paul: 7:30 a.m. - 8 p.m. weekdays, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. weekends
• UT Southwestern University Hospital Zale Lipshy: 7 a.m. - 8 p.m. weekdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends.

Outpatient Care

Patient ambassadors are available to assist patients throughout their clinical visit. Patients may find patient ambassadors in the lobbies of the Aston Building, the Seay Building, the Outpatient Building and Professional Office Buildings 1 & 2.
