The staff at UT Southwestern’s Clinical Center for Voice Care has the knowledge and experience to provide patients with an accurate diagnosis and effective treatment of all types of swallowing disorders, including

• Difficulty swallowing (dysphagia)
• Aspiration (food going down the windpipe)
• Food or liquids getting stuck in the throat
• Pain or tightness with swallowing
• Weakness with swallowing
• Zenker’s diverticulum (a pouch that develops in the walls of the lower throat)
• Problems related to radiation therapy for head and neck cancer
