UT Southwestern Medical Center has a caring staff of medical professionals who are committed to enhancing patients’ quality of life as well as meeting the needs of patients’ families. Our staff can direct them to a variety of informative and enriching support groups and other resources, which can be tailored to meet a specific situation.
The Simmons Cancer Center social workers host a number of support groups allowing cancer patients and their families to share concerns, inspiration and advice about living with cancer in the company of others with similar experiences. Open to all cancer patients, family, and caregivers, these free support groups can help facilitate emotional well-being throughout a patient's cancer journey.
