Facial Pain :: About Our Program

About Our Program | Conditions and Illnesses | Our Physicians | Patient Education Materials | Support Groups and Resources

UT Southwestern Medical Center facial pain physicians offers expert, compassionate care for patients experiencing facial pain, including pain associated with an abscessed tooth, dysphagia (swallowing problems), sinus infection, sinusitis, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder, trigeminal neuralgia and other conditions.

UT Southwestern is one of the few pain management centers in Texas with on-site pain specialists, behavioral medicine specialists and physical therapists. Our program uses therapies derived from the latest scientific advances in pain management and our specialists utilize the least-invasive procedures available to diagnose, locate and treat patients’ facial pain.

UT Southwestern’s comprehensive medical resources enable patients to have an initial consultation, testing, follow-up visits and any needed medical procedures all in one location.

Patients with facial pain can also be treated by our ear, nose and throat and dentistry and oral surgery services.
