Repeat Determinations

Repeat determinations are a part of laboratory testing. We will repeat any test at no additional charge if the physician believes the results do not correlate with the overall condition of the patient

Interpretation

Interpretations are provided on panels by a Hemostasis specialist. Consultations are available upon request.

Test Reporting

Reports are faxed upon completion. The permanent report is mailed the same day tests are completed.

Test Cancellation or Test Additions

Tests may be cancelled prior to the specimen being tested. Once testing is complete, the test will be billed. To add tests to an existing specimen, contact Customer Service and provide a written authorization via facsimile from the ordering location.

STAT Testing

The assays and panels listed below are offered on a STAT basis 24 hours per day, seven days per week. If received in the laboratory after 3 p.m. CST an additional charge of $40 will be added to the normal assay charge. If a panel is requested STAT, the stat fee will be assessed for each component in the panel, with a maximum charge of $200. No STAT fee will be applied for orders received Monday through Friday if the sample arrives prior to 3 p.m. CST.  Stat courier fees will be assessed for STAT pick up of specimens. These fees are based on location, day, and time.
