Health System Affairs announces leadership changes

Dr. Bruce Meyer, Executive Vice President for Health System Affairs, recently announced a reorganization of Office of Health System Affairs that he said will “most effectively support department chairs and clinical program directors in pursuing clinical excellence.”

The changes include the elimination of a VP position, and the creation of two new positions.

Dr. Chris Madden is the first Associate Vice President for Parkland Health and Hospital System Affairs and Dr. Stan Taylor is the new Associate Vice President for and Chief Medical Officer for Ambulatory Care at the University clinics.

Also moving into new positions were Randy Jones, named Associate Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer for Ambulatory Care, and Dr. Peter Plantes, now Assistant Vice President for Continuing Medical and Community Education.
