Best of Dallas
Now That’s Entertainment
Dallas houses both historic and newly built theaters that are a great places to catch a new release, classic film, or current comedy act. Downtown and Deep Ellum continue to support the music scene whether it be an up-and-coming indie artist or the city’s own symphony orchestra. With a wide variety of bars and clubs for everyone from the self-proclaimed beer snob to the shameless dancer, the Dallas nightlife is a far cry from dull.
There is something for everyone in the Metroplex.

Deep in the Art of Texas
Find your muse in one of the DFW’s celebrated museums. Ponder over the newest exhibit at the Dallas Museum of Art or get cultured at the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth, which is famous for its western art collection. The streets of downtown also serve as a less formal art scene with their numerous wall murals, outdoor art displays, and sculptures.
The DFW area has great museums.

A Breath of Fresh Air
More of an outdoorsy type? Experience the great wide open of North Texas. Picnic or play at Dallas’ White Rock Lake or become a tree-hugger at the neighboring Arboretum. The Katy Trail is popular among exercise enthusiasts, and animal lovers rejoice at The Dallas Zoo and Fort Worth Zoo. Dallas outdoor life also includes riverside hiking spots, dog-friendly parks, and a plethora of places with great patios.
Nothing beats a day just hanging out by White Rock Lake with a picnic lunch and a great book.

Root for the Home Team
Support the sports of Dallas and become a fan of one of their many professional teams. Witness the tackles and touchdowns of America’s football team, the Dallas Cowboys, in the famed AT&T Stadium in Arlington, or go next door to Rangers Ballpark for hot dogs and homeruns with the Texas Rangers. See the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks or the NHL’s Dallas Stars shoot and score in the acclaimed American Airlines Center. Cheer on the FC Dallas soccer team as they go for the goal in Frisco’s Toyota Stadium. Dallas is also proud home to the minor-league baseball team, the Roughriders.

Flag Down Some Fun
In Arlington, Six Flags Over Texas amusement park and its sister water park Hurricane Harbor are great places for thrills and excitement with friends. Take the 255-foot plunge down the Titan or stay cool in the pool–either way, you’re in for fun.
The future is bright for the D/FW area and for Texas in general.

From Point A to Point B
The Metroplex offers a variety of options when it comes to getting around town. Dash across Dallas on the DART. Come on and take a free ride on Uptown’s M-Line Trolley. Travel to Fort Worth on the Trinity Railway Express or beeline to Denton on the A-train. Wherever you're going, there’s a convenient and affordable way to get there.
I really can't put my finger on just one thing that I like about living in North Texas.
