Autism Studies

Our studies of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) aim to characterize abnormalities in motor and cognitive functioning associated with ASD. The Lab for Neurobehavioral Development integrates behavioral measures and measures of brain function and anatomy to examine the neural mechanisms involved in ASD. We study brain-behavior alterations in both individuals with ASD and their biological parents. These studies are open to individuals at least 4 years old with a diagnosis of ASD, Asperger’s Syndrome, or PDD-NOS as well as their biological parents up to age 55 years old.
