Srinivas Malladi, Ph.D.

Srinivas came to the United States from India to pursue higher education. He earned his Ph.D. at UT Austin, then joined Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as an American Cancer Society Fellow with Dr. Joan Massague. At MSKCC, he developed novel models to study latent metastasis.
In 2017, he was recruited to UT Southwestern as a principal investigator in the Department of Pathology. Dr. Malladi’s research focuses on how disseminated cancer cells survive and give rise to metastasis at a cellular and molecular level, using a multidisciplinary and integrative approach.
