Combinatorial libraries of N-substituted oligoglycines (peptoids) are promising sources of bioactive molecules because of their stability, cell permeability, potential diversity, straightforward synthesis, and facile sequence determination. We are screening peptoid libraries directly for their phenotypic effects on cells.
