Postdoctoral Position Available
A postdoctoral fellow position is open for an individual with an interest in the molecular and epigenetic mechanisms of neural stem cell differentiation and myelin-producing cell formation in the CNS. See recent publications from our laboratory: Cell, 109: 75-86; Nat. Neurosci. 4: 973-974; Nat. Neurosci. 12: 829-38; Nat. Neurosci. 12: 1398-406; and Neuron 25:17–329; Neuron, 65:612-626.
The ideal candidate should be a recent Ph.D. graduate with self-motivation and a demonstrated record of publications in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry or Neuroscience. Prior experience with mammalian nervous systems is a plus. The successful applicant will use state-of-the-art technology and genetic mouse models to unravel mechanisms of glial differentiation and myelinogenesis.
