Autism Studies

Our studies of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) aim to characterize differences in behavior, physiology and cognitive functioning associated with ASD. The Center for Autism & Developmental Disabilities integrates these measures with genetic information and measures of brain function and anatomy to examine the genetic and neural mechanisms underlying these differences. We study both individuals with ASD and their biological relatives, and our studies are also open to typically-developing individuals to serve as a comparison group.
