Our laboratory is focused on the molecular regulation of the inflammatory response, particularly in the intestinal tract, and the various events that control the pro-inflammatory transcription factor, NF-κB. In addition, our lab studies the range of activities of the COMMD protein family, a group of highly conserved factors that modulate inflammation, development, adaptation to hypoxia, and other processes.
To address the questions at hand, our work involves a number of disciplines such as molecular biology, mouse models of human disease, and more recently, human genetics. Our lab includes a dynamic group of scientists with great experience in these fields of research. We strive for excellence and innovation in our work, and we welcome open collaborations with a broad range of colleagues both here at our campus and at other institutions around the world.
