Applicants must have, or be in the process of completing, a bachelor's degree. While there are no specific course requirements for admissions, experience has shown that undergraduates benefit from having completed upper level courses in biochemistry, genetics and cell or molecular biology. We have no minimum GPA or GRE but our average incoming student for Fall 2009 has a GPA of 3.56 and a GRE of ~1250. Research experience, gained in a summer program as a student researcher or as a post undergraduate, is a critical aspect of the evaluation process.
