Biography

Associate Professor of Neurology and Pediatrics, University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Director of the Pediatric Epilepsy Center at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Received MD from Cornell University School of Medicine, and completed general pediatric and adult neurology training at Yale. Dr. Arnold pursued her pediatric neurology and epilepsy training at Washington University in St. Louis. She has board certification in pediatrics, neurology with special qualification in child neurology, and clinical neurophysiology. Special research interests include Landau-Kleffner syndrome and its overlap with epilepsy and EEG abnormalities in childhood autism. She is actively engaged in clinical research focused on medical and surgical therapy for intractable epilepsy in childhood. She has also authored two book chapters on pediatric neurology topics.
