Biography
Dr. Forbess is a noninvasive cardiologist who specializes in adult congenital and valvular heart disease. She trained in Internal Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA and completed her fellowship in Cardiology at Duke University Medical Center, Durham, NC. While at Duke, she obtained advanced subspecialty training in echocardiography,valvular and congenital heart disease. She also obtained 15 months of formal training in Pediatric Cardiology at Duke to further her knowledge of congenital heart disease. She joined the UT Southwestern Medical Center division of Cardiology in November 2004 where she practices general noninvasive cardiology and cares for adults with congenital heart disease.
