Biography

Dr. Myers is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. He holds the position of Chief in the Division of Otolaryngology at the VA North Texas Healthcare System. He completed an undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and received his medical degree from the University of Chicago-Pritzker School of Medicine. After completing an Otolaryngology residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo, he completed a fellowship at the University of Michigan, receiving advanced training in Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Myers is board certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He is a member of several national professional societies. He has authored scientific articles and book chapters. His clinical interests include all aspects of head and neck oncology with a special interest in microvascular reconstruction. Dr. Myers sees patients at the Aston Ambulatory Care Center at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. He has hospital appointments at Zale-Lipshy University Hospital, Parkland Memorial Hospital, Children’s Medical Center of Dallas, and St. Paul Medical Center.
