Biography

Jeffrey A. Cadeddu, M.D.: Professor, Department of Urology and Director, Clinical Center for Minimally Invasive Treatment of Urologic Cancer. Education: Dr. Cadeddu completed his undergraduate education in Biomedical Engineering at the The Johns Hopkins University and proceeded to obtain his medical school education at The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He also completed his urology residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital under the tutelage of Dr. Patrick Walsh. Dr. Cadeddu is currently an Associate Professor of Urology and Radiology and the Director of the Clinical Center for Minimally Invasive Treatment of Urologic Cancer at UT Southwestern. During his postgraduate training he focused on minimally invasive treatments of urologic diseases. His specialty is laparoscopy and robotic surgery and focuses his research and clinical practice on the laparoscopic and minimally invasive treatment of kidney tumors, adrenal tumors, testis cancer, and prostate cancer. Dr. Cadeddu is a recognized expert in laparoscopic and robotic surgery and has published extensively in these areas.
