Biography

Laura M. Snell, MPH, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine where she co-directs the Family Medicine junior clerkship and the fourth year ambulatory care course and is engaged in research and program evaluation. She received her formal training in chronic disease epidemiology at Yale University and is a member of the American College of Epidemiology.

Ms. Snell has published numerous papers on a variety of topics including medical student education, the health effects of substance abuse during pregnancy, medical ethics, and physician and patient perceptions about acute bronchitis. She also has extensive expertise in the area of program evaluation and has served as the evaluator for three federally-funded and two state-funded grants.
