Southwestern in 1974 as a faculty member in the Department of Medical Computer Science and as a member of the Biometrics group in the Medical Computing Resources Center (the predecessor of Academic Computing Services). She continued her consulting responsibilities after she assumed management of the Biometrics group in 1976. In December 2003 she was named Assistant Director of the new Center for Biostatistics and Clinical Science with Dr. Milton Packer as Director. When the Department of Clinical Sciences was established in January 2007, she headed the Division of Biostatistics in the Department. Currently the group consists of 19 faculty and 5 Masters level biostatisticians.
