Biography

Dr. Madhuranthakam graduated from Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in 2005 with a PhD in Biomedical Engineering with emphasis on Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). He then joined the MR Research and Development division of GE Healthcare to develop novel imaging techniques to improve the clinical utility of MRI.  During his tenure with GE Healthcare, he closely worked with various researchers and radiologists at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School to translate the technical developments into clinical care.  Since late 2011, he has been with the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center as an independent researcher.
