Biography

Dr. Herman is expert in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders in adults and children. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine. He is the Director of The Sleep Disorders Center for Children at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas and is the Training Director of the Sleep Medicine Fellowship Program at UT Southwestern.

Dr. Herman teaches psychodynamic psychotherapy in the clinical psychology doctoral program at UT Southwestern. He also teaches sleep medicine to psychiatry and child psychiatry residents and fellows. Dr. Herman has published four chapters on pediatric sleep disorders and one on circadian rhythm research in the past year.
