Biography
Frank A. Gottschalk, M.D., is currently a Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at U.T. Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas where he has been a distinguished faculty member since 1984. At U.T. Southwestern, Dr. Gottschalk is very active in the education of orthopaedic surgery residents and in the care of patients with problems in their lower exrtremity.
Dr. Gottschalk obtained his undergraduate as well as his medical degree from the University of Witwatersand in South Africa.
Dr. Gottschalk is involved in several international, national and state orthopaedic associations. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Orthopaedic Association, the Royal College of Surgeons, the Texas Orthopaedic Association, the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics and he is currently serving as an Executive Board Member to the US International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics.
Dr. Gottschalk is married to Karen and they have 3 sons and 1 grandson.
